The Forum, home of the legendary Montreal Canadiens, was built in 1924, renovated in 1949, and 1968, and may be the most famous hockey arena in the world, hosting some of the most memorable games in hockey history. The painting shows the fabled Montreal Forum in the early 1960's, from the corner of St. Catherine’s and Atwater, before an early winter night game. Mount Royal looms in the background.
